You know what I want to see? Riku helping Sora keep control as Sora becomes progressively more and more Norted. Riku sharing with Sora what it was like to be possessed by Xehanort’s heartless and constantly fighting the darkness in his heart and being haunted by Xehanort’s heartless even years after he gained control. I want some real heart to hearts about what Riku went through (because god knows Riku needs to share it with someone instead of keeping it all inside) and preparing Sora for what’s to come.
A montage similar to BBS’s opening sparring tutorial wherein you pick a Guardian of Light to play as for the duration of a fight against another Guardian of Light chosen from a lineup.
I’d never leave the tutorial analyzing the differences between fighting styles. Also, Riku v Sora yes
I think the thing that gets me most about the Nightmare’s End/Mirage Split keyblade is not just that the keychain becomes a paopu fruit or that two halves of a heart fuse into one, but that it would have been so easy for them NOT to have made the keychains turn into a paopu fruit. I mean, look at the designs for the keychains of Sora and Riku’s separate halves:
How EASY and logical would it have been for them to just use the same heart design but use both wings on the combined keychain, and no one would have thought anything of it? But no. They actually sat down and chose to transform them into a paopu fruit.
