I was thinking about Jodariel and her time as a soldier, trying to decide what kind of weapons she had received training in, like you do. After the initial “she fights with two guns” joke-
-my first thought was that since she is swole as hell she probably used like a battle-axe or something. But then I thought some more and realized that didn’t feel quite right. Jodariel fought mainly against the Highwind Remnants. She fought against Harps. Harps fly.
Guns may or may not exist in Pyre’s setting. Crossbows probably do. But neither of those weapons take a huge amount of muscle to use. Jodariel got those bigass arms from using a longbow and sniping bird-people out of the sky.
