When Bruce took Dick out on his first missions Dick suffered from severe anxiety whenever Bruce leapt from building to building. It took years for him to get over his fear of losing another family to falling. Dick occasionally still gets anxiety attacks whenever he see one of his family members have a rough landing.

Any time one of the Wayne children get kidnapped, Bruce is a complete mess. Alfred on the other hand has already threatened those that he needs to to get to the child at hand before Bruce sucks it up and goes batman for the rescue.
