Ya know how Riku said he’s leaving his old keyblade quote “for the other me” I just had the thought it could very well be more metaphorical, meaning, someone like him rather than the replica, but just a thought I had rewatching it. Because mickey seems surprised by what he said, annnd pretty sure mickey remembers replica riku.
Mickey never actually encountered Repliku. While his friend card is available in most (if not all, been a while since I’ve played CoM or ReCoM) of the Repliku fights, every encounter with Repliku takes place when Riku is alone, either in the Halls or in the Card Twilight Town. Mickey is nowhere on screen during any of that. YMMV on if people in Friend Cards can see what’s going on around them, but cutscene wise? Nah. He never saw Repliku, and if Riku never spoke of him…Mickey can’t know.
