“Brain” is in the dictionary of “Baby names the doctor would hit you for.”
Hell “Blaine” is a name people use in english, so why the fuck would you need to change it?

In Japanese r and l are the same so when translating to English you have to pick one or the other.

The fans went with L because it made sense to from a name standpoint. The localization team went with R because well ブレイン is how you spell the English word brain using Japanese katakana.

I’m all for accuracy in translation but this is stupid.
